This Privacy Notice for Mukil Vendhan (doing business as LoreIt) describes how and why we collect, store, use, and share your personal information when you use our services, including when you visit LoreIt.dev or use our browser extension.

1. What Information Do We Collect?
We collect personal information you voluntarily provide when you register or use our services:
- Name and email address (via Google OAuth)
- Authentication and session data
- Payment information — handled entirely by Lemon Squeezy. We never store card details.
- AI conversation data you choose to save (session text, titles, tags, parsed messages)
We do not process sensitive personal information. Our use of information received from Google APIs adheres to the Google API Services User Data Policy, including Limited Use requirements.
Our browser extension only accesses the content of the specific AI conversation you explicitly choose to 'Save' or 'Export.' No background browsing data or unrelated tab information is ever collected or monitored.
2. How Do We Process Your Information?
We process your information to:
- Create and manage your account
- Deliver the LoreIt service (session storage, PDF export, library)
- Respond to your support inquiries
- Send administrative information (policy updates, service notices)
- Protect the security of our services and prevent fraud
- Understand usage patterns to improve the product
3. Legal Bases for Processing
We process your personal information only when we have a valid legal reason — including your consent, performance of a contract, legitimate business interests, or legal obligations.
4. When and With Whom Do We Share Your Information?
We share data with the following third-party providers only as needed to operate LoreIt:
- Supabase — database, authentication, and storage
- Google OAuth 2.0 — user login
- Vercel — frontend hosting
- Railway — backend hosting
- Lemon Squeezy — payment processing and invoicing (Merchant of Record). They handle all payment inquiries, tax compliance including GST, and secure transaction processing. We do not store card details. See Lemon Squeezy Privacy Policy.
- Anthropic — AI features (Pro tier only). Session data may be processed to generate summaries and insights.
We have not sold or shared any personal information to third parties for commercial purposes.
5. Cookies
We use essential cookies to maintain your login session and security tokens, and functional cookies to remember your preferences. You can set your browser to refuse cookies, though this may affect certain features of the service.
6. Google Login
When you sign in with Google, we receive your name, email address, and basic profile information. We use this only to create and manage your LoreIt account. We do not share this data beyond what is required to operate the service.
7. Data Retention
We retain your personal information for as long as you have an active account. When you request account deletion, we will delete your data from our active databases. Some information may be retained in backup archives for fraud prevention and legal compliance.
8. Data Security
We implement appropriate technical and organisational security measures to protect your data. However, no transmission over the internet is guaranteed 100% secure. You should access LoreIt only from secure environments.
9. Minors
We do not knowingly collect data from or market to children under 18. By using LoreIt, you confirm you are at least 18 years old.
10. Your Privacy Rights
Depending on your location, you may have the right to access, correct, delete, or export your personal data. To exercise any of these rights, contact us at support@LoreIt-app.com.
11. Updates to This Notice
We may update this Privacy Notice from time to time. The updated date at the top of this page will reflect any changes. We encourage you to review this notice periodically.
